Payment Solutions Coordinator

Department: Deposit Operations
Location: Maitland, FL

General Responsibilities

The primary function of the Payment Solutions Coordinator is to manage and lead new program implementations and onboarding projects as they relate to the Bank’s Payment Solutions Division. Work directly with the VP, AxiomGO and the Manager of Payment Solutions to on-board digital programs, to include AxiomGO and Prepaid Card Programs. Assists the Manager of Payments Solutions in assuring compliance with all Bank policies and procedures, as well as, all applicable state and federal banking regulatory requirements, and network guidelines.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

The Payment Solutions Coordinator’s Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  •  Coordinate and lead onboarding projects and implementations for the banks Prepaid and Digital programs
  •  Drives tasks with all assigned groups and departments throughout the entire implementation project
  •  Assists the Manager of Payments Solutions with updating and implementing policies and procedures related to departmental processes.
  •  Serve as primary contact with client and provide ongoing support as needed
  •  Create and manage network requests and submissions related to Client programs
  •  Collaborate with clients and internal business partners to identify and define project requirements and objectives
  •  Communicate updates and relevant information to all stakeholders (internal and external) on a proactive and timely basis.
  •  Organize and lead project meetings with clients and internal partners
  •  Monitors implementation requests from beginning to end to ensure that all deadlines are met
  •  Provides testing assistance and performs production verification of systems configurations
  • Works closely with vendors, management and regulatory authorities regarding Prepaid and Digital services and products.
  • Coordinate testing of activities for new programs before moving into production phase.
  •  Actively monitors newly implemented programs and oversee documentation and ongoing monitoring of client performance; provide ongoing reporting to leadership 
  •  Provide ongoing operational support to Digital Partners, Program Managers and Payment Solutions clients.
  •  Expand and maintain knowledge of all Payment Solutions and Digital products and services.
  •  Administer daily reports to Clients and Program managers.
  •  Ensure compliance with legal and risk related policies procedures and adherence to compliance guidelines.

Working Conditions

  • This position is performed in a regular office work environment. The incumbent will be expected to be able to work Monday through Friday and work will mainly be performed at the Maitland location; occasional evening and weekend work may be required. Flexibility with work location and hours may be granted if circumstances permit.

Qualifications Summary

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED; 2 years college in business related field preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3-5 years work-related experience in the financial services industry and/or prepaid services, with direct experience in Electronic Funds Transfer System administration, i.e. ACH, ATM/Debit Card, Wire Transfer. Project Management experience strongly preferred. Experience with Card Networks and Payment Processors preferred.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Working knowledge of branch functions, bank products, banking operations, and customer service.
  • Ability to work well with affiliate bank departments and branch personnel.
  • Knowledge of bank systems/applications, processes, and documentation.
  • Must have strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively
  • Proven customer service and communications skills in working effectively with external customers and internal business partners.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Must possess good judgment, and critical thinking skills.
  • Must be willing to learn and cross-train employees in other job functions.
  • Knowledge of computer software and applications including but not limited to Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.
